In late 2012 BlackMask spawned from dark depths of the DnB scene to bring high impact, dark energy back into the world of jump-up drum and bass. BlackMask is a collective of already established producers under one entity.
Right off the bat BlackMask caught the attention of big players on the scene; German jump-up power house DJ Shrust was very quickly on the scene, as well as the legendary DJ Phantasy and drumstep king pin Figure were intrigued by this new sound emerging from back streets of DnB. The sound that BlackMask has unleashed is truly mind blowing and has been being lapped up by DnB ravers all over the world, from the USA to the UK and everywhere in between. Straight from the dark depths of the drum n bass scene, BlackMasks unmistakable evil basslines have been stirring up trouble!
BlackMask is normally hiding out in their secret lair producing new material, concocting new ways to dominate both ravers and the DnB scene. Their originals and remixes have been featured on labels Phantom Dub Digital, Ten Ton Beats, Sound Solution Digital, Doom Music, and Promo Audio.
